Lisa Carrick

Lisa’s career spans education, operations and health management across domestic and international markets. Her most recent positions were the Director of the Transition Program for Susan Wakil Health Building at the University of Sydney and the General Manager of the Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Sydney. Other roles include being the Regional Organisational Manager at Merck Sharp & Dohme Far East based in Hong Kong and working extensively throughout S-E Asia. Lisa has a wealth of knowledge that can contribute to designing innovative teaching spaces and ensuring a high quality student experience. Her qualifications include being a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company.

Her qualifications include an MBA and being a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

The Hon Dr Geoff Lee was elected as the State Member for Parramatta in 2011, 2015 and 2019 for a record three consecutive terms. Geoff is proud of the city’s transformation with the state government delivering a record $7 billion worth of investment and moving 12,000 public servants to the city. Geoff was appointed Minister for Corrections (2021-2023), Minister for Skills and Tertiary Education (2019-2021) and acting Minister for Sport, Multiculturalism, Seniors and Veterans (2019-2021). Geoff served as Parliamentary Secretary for Multiculturalism, Western Sydney and the Premier (2017-2019). Prior to politics, Geoff was an academic at WSU as Associate Dean Engagement (2006-2010) and lecturer (2004-2006). He has published over 25 peer-reviewed journal and conference papers and raised significant external research grants. Geoff was the founder of the award winning Hambledon Garden Centre (1991-2001) a retail, indoor plant-hire and commercial landscaping operation at Parramatta. He holds a Doctorate in Business Administration (2006), a Master of Business Administration (2001) and a Bachelor of Applied Science (Horticulture) (1989). Additionally, he is a graduate of the AICD’s Company Directors Course (2010). As the first member of the NSW Parliament's Legislative Assembly with Chinese heritage, Geoff is dedicated to ensuring NSW realises the benefits of multiculturalism and helps the vulnerable in our society. He has used his standing in parliament to publicly oppose racism, hate speech and vilification.

Richard is an accomplished academic with extensive teaching and research experience at various private and public institutions, including the Australian National University where he served as a Professor, specialising in the areas of Computer Vision, Artificial Intelligence And Image Processing, Image Processing, Virtual Reality and Medical Biotechnology Diagnostics (Incl. Biosensors). Additionally, Richard was a Fellow at the Australian Academy of Science, Australian Mathematical Society and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.

David Cummins is a Specialist in technology consulting (strategy, architecture and operating model). Senior executive at KPMG (Big 4 consulting firm) with over 25 years of experience in technology consulting and delivery. He was a Partner in its Technology Advisory practice at PwC, Cummins’ areas of expertise are in enterprise and solution architecture, technology operating models, advanced analytic architectures, business case development, tech-driven transformation, and vendor sourcing and selection, with a focus on the financial services industry serving both large institutions and challenger banks.

Since 2012, David Lowe has been a professor of software engineering and the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Sydney. From 2002-2008 David was the Associate Dean (Teaching & Learning) for the Faculty of Engineering, UTS and a former Director, Centre for Real-Time Information Networks from 2008 to 2012.

Ray serves as Associate Professor and Deputy Dean (Learning and Teaching) at Macquarie University. From 2014-2019 he was the Associate Dean (Education), Faculty of Engineering at the UNSW. Ray is a member of The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers and Australasian Association for Engineering Education.

Ben was a DECRA Research Fellow (2013-2016), School of Information Technologies at USYD, developed and taught the Master of Data Science.
